Attorney Jason M. Leon is originally from the Stroudsburg area, where he currently resides with his wife and children. He graduated high school from Stroudsburg High School (1992) and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from East Stroudsburg University (1996). Attorney Leon earned his Juris Doctorate in 2000 from Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, PA and graduated in the top 20% of his class. At Widener University Law School, Attorney Leon was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honor Society and competed in several Regional Mock Trial Competitions. From October 2000 until April 2004, Attorney Leon honed his legal skill in the Monroe County Public Defender’s Office, representing over a thousand clients charged with crimes, as well as mental health hearings, protection from abuse hearings and Children and Youth matters. From there, Jason worked as an associate for another Pocono Mountain area law firm, developing his practice in even more diverse areas, before taking the next step in starting his own private law practice. Attorney Leon was honored to be appointed, by the then President Judge Ronald E. Vican, to serve Monroe County as the Juvenile Hearing Officer. Attorney Leon has appeared before over a hundred Magisterial District Judges, the Court of Common Pleas in fourteen counties (including Pocono Mountain Region, Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia Area), the Federal Courts, the Commonwealth Court, and the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
